Condition Guide
At Story Stacks India, we believe every preloved book has a story to tell. To help you choose the best fit for your home library, we personally inspect every book and categorize it using these standards:
| Condition | What to Expect |
|---|---|
| New | Brand new and unread. Typically sourced from overstock. No visible wear or tear. |
| Like New | Looks virtually new with crisp pages and no spine creases. May occasionally have a previous owner's name or minor writing inside. |
| Good | A well-loved book. May have light creasing on the spine, minor shelf wear, or a name/writing inside, but pages remain clean and intact. |
| Fair | A well-read copy. May have noticeable wear, minor taping, or previous owner's marks. Perfectly readable and complete! |
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you check for torn pages?
Yes! We manually inspect every book. We don't sell books with missing pages or damage that affects reading.
Will my book have writing in it?
"New" and "Like New" books are mark-free. "Good" or "Fair" books may occasionally have a small inscription or name inside.
